On January 14th, the Foresight 2024 New Year’s Eve Party, themed “Gathering Strength and Empowerment, Creating the Future Together,” was grandly hosted by the Beijing Changsha Enterprises Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as “the Chamber”) at the Hunan Mansion in Beijing. Nearly 300 attendees from approximately 50 listed companies and 30 major enterprises across the country participated in the event. Mr. Ge Jing, Chairman of Beijing SYS Science & Technology Co., was among the distinguished guests.

The meeting began with Qiu Xiaohua, former Director General of the National Bureau of Statistics, and Liu Jiuru, President of the Huaxin Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and member of the National Committee of Intelligent Manufacturing Experts, who reviewed the policy evolution of China’s economy and new industrialization in 2023. They also offered insights into the economic outlook for 2024, discussing the challenges and investment opportunities in the context of new industrialization.

Following this, Dr. Li Anmin, President of the Chamber, moderated a roundtable forum, inviting seven entrepreneurial representatives from listed companies, along with Zheng Ping, Director of the Changsha Bureau of Commerce and Secretary of the Party Group, to engage in a dialogue. Each participant briefly reflected on their achievements in 2023 and shared their expectations for 2024. The seven entrepreneurial representatives included Ge Jing, Chairman of SYS (301372); Yu Jiuru, General Manager of Lead Surge Technology (300530); Yu Hongtao, Chairman of Xinhua Lian Literature & Tourism (000620); Ma Chenshan, Chairman of Donghua Software (002065); Xue Xiangdong, Chairman of Thermal View Bio (688068); Lin Changqing, Chairman of Green Moment Technology (836208); and Chen Yonghong, President of Leisure Guard (833575), with Tao Ran also participating.

Ge Jing introduced SYS as an innovative, integrated service provider specializing in water environment governance, which successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in August 2023. With a focus on technological innovation, SYS has developed strong core competitiveness in areas such as water environment system governance, watershed management, river and lake landscape water governance, and the treatment of black-smelly water bodies.

In recent years, Changsha, guided by Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization, has taken on the responsibility of "guarding a river of blue water." The city has resolutely embraced its political responsibility for ecological civilization construction, placing the improvement of water quality at the core of its efforts. Changsha has actively promoted the reduction of water pollution, expanded environmental protections, and advanced the construction and preservation of beautiful rivers and lakes. The city has been working towards realizing the vision of “clear waters and green banks, vibrant rivers and lakes,” creating a picturesque landscape where "fish fly and the shallow bottom is visible."

Ge Jing expressed SYS’s strong willingness to participate in the development and protection of Changsha’s water environment and ecological restoration. He emphasized the hope to visit Changsha soon to present SYS’s governance concepts and comprehensive capabilities to the city’s leaders.

During the discussion session, Mr Zheng Ping, Director of the Bureau of Commerce, also gave wonderful answers to all the concerns about the construction of Changsha's global R&D centre, business environment, industrial policies and other related topics, and invited everyone on the spot to go to Changsha for inspection and exchange. Ge Jing and the entrepreneurs also expressed their willingness to invest in Changsha or make additional investments.

The meeting also released the first national “Hunan Capital Market High-Quality Development Report White Paper 2023” and “Fixed Incentive Merchants of Listed Companies” reports, which were interpreted by Prof. Huang Yuncheng, Director of the Academic Advisory Committee of China Listed Companies Association, and Dr. Tang Bin, General Manager of the PIPE & Fixed Incentive Business Department of Jiuyin Holdings, respectively.

At the end of the meeting, Gao Chuanjie, Academic General Director of Tewa Postdoctoral Research Station of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Kang Zhenlin, Vice Mayor of Changsha, Chen Rongwei, Director of Hunan Provincial People's Government Office in Beijing, and Wang Maolin, Former Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, delivered warm speeches respectively.

After the meeting, Mr. Ge Jing, Chairman of the Board, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Chamber for providing a platform for communication. Ge Jing said that at the time of the New Year of 2024, this high-level seminar brought a lot of information for various industries and added confidence in future development, and SYS also hopes to carry out further exchanges and cooperation with Changsha local government and various enterprises and institutions as soon as possible.
