On March 28, 2023, Beijing SYS Technology Co., Ltd. invited Professor Max Dohmann, a leading academic in the field of water environmental engineering from Germany, for an exchange and guidance visit. SYS's core technical R&D personnel accompanied the exchange, and a ceremony was held to appoint the Chief Expert Consultant, with Chairman Ge Jing presenting the appointment certificate.

Professor Max Dohmann is the Director and Lifetime Consultant of the Urban Water Resources Institute at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2000, he has also served as a consultant to the German Federal Government's Environmental Advisory Council. He has achieved world-leading scientific research and engineering practical results in new technology for nitrogen and phosphorus removal in wastewater treatment, operational management of sewage network systems, waste sorting collection and processing, and membrane technology applications in water and wastewater treatment.

Both parties engaged in discussions about the domestic and international development landscape of water environment technologies, market supply and demand for products, progress in process technology research and development, and explored SYS's technical research layout for 2023 and the direction of subsequent key tasks.

Zhang Yan, the Deputy Director of SYS Technical Institute, reported to Professor Dohmann's team about the company's achievements in technology development, core technological process advantages, reflections on the water treatment industry, and future innovations in wastewater treatment, sludge disposal, microbial strains, pipeline, and building systems. Guidance and suggestions from Professor Dohmann were requested.

In response to SYS's technical research and development capabilities and the philosophy behind its preliminary R&D layout, Professor Dohmann expressed high recognition. He noted that due to the energy crisis caused by changes in international relations and the global emphasis on carbon emission reduction, the importance of water environment protection is increasingly prominent.

At the same time, the professor pointed out that Germany has conducted in-depth research in areas such as efficient microbial strains, low-energy-consumption wastewater treatment, the integration of wastewater treatment with new energy, and enhancing the quality and efficiency of sewer networks. He expressed his willingness to help the company establish R&D collaborations with major universities, research institutes, experts, and enterprises in the same industry both domestically and internationally.

Chairman Ge Jing expressed deep gratitude for Professor Dohmann's support, stating that with Professor Dohmann joining as an expert consultant in SYS's water environment, the company's technical R&D capabilities would surely continue to improve and break through. He expressed the expectation that both sides would work together for the technical development of the water environment industry domestically and internationally, as well as contribute to the cause of water environment management.
